For those who know me personally, you know that I'm very proud of my younger brother Koon Po. And now, he just left for Europe (going to London first before heading to his Student Exchange ground Czech Republic). The next time I'll see him will be in early-June 2009.

Filing Bankruptcy

This afternoon, I met up with this lady (who got my contact through My Paper reporter after reading my feature on it earlier this month).

In her earlier email to me, she thought that my past experience and my family background is quite similar with her husband. And in fact, her husband is on the verge of filing bankruptcy after owing more than $100,000 to various debtors (including the credit card bills and loans from friends etc).

She just needs some advices, which initially I was not even sure I'm the right person to consult her. But then, I talked to her for almost one hour and realised her husband was in this state because of business. Her husband is operating a car rental business and has been spending quite a lot on entertaining his business clients, causing his downfall now.

Personally for me, if you need to spend thousands and thousands to woo these clients, these are really the 'indecent' guys! And seriously, I think it's not worthwhile to run a business, spend great pile to open up the bottles to ensure their clients are with you. As I'm not someone who entertain, I despise these people who need to be entertained before giving the deals. A simple dinner and a simple coffee are more than sufficient.

A lesson to learn: Do business with integrity and merits. Do not do business using or receiving 'bribes'.

I may not be an old businessman with many years of experiences. But I know good businessmen don't fancy such expensive 'bribes' and 'entertainment'.

It's My 26th Birthday Today...

It has been exactly one year since I started this blog. Nothing is more memorable than today.

I was in Malaysia today and I just finished watching 'Wall-E' alone in The Gardens. Today, I have reflected on myself so much more today than any other days in the past 365 days.

1. If I had not declared to the world one year ago, I may not have set this goal to 'retire' by the age of 26. I won't be able to have the 'master plan' to achieve financial independence so fast. Thanks to those who inspired me and encouraged me along the way.

2. Success really breeds success; it's precisely because of this, I managed to achieve more and more. Thank you to those who have been believing me and always been helping me over the years.

3. I have learnt so much about Internet Marketing (from Bernard Hay) and Property Investment (from KS Low), which are invaluable business and financial lessons I never knew without their guidance. Thanks pals!

4. This year, I set up FOREX ASIA ACADEMY and see myself leading a whole new different life. I find a new purpose in life and able to improve lives in the process. Been recognized by (1) industry veterans like Dr Ernest Wong and KC See, (2) reputable medias like The New Paper, MyPaper and Singapore Forex Forum and (3) educational institution like ERC Institute, I will continue to Inspire, Inform and Improve the Forex Education in Asia.

Yesterday, I just launched HelpNazri.com - an initiative to help one of my Forex graduates, Md Nazri.

Nazri has been a juvenile diabetic since 17 years old. He had a foot ulcer that won't go away and was then amputated in Nov-2006. Been in and out of hospital since that, he lost all his strength and was unable to even stand up till now. Doctors can't seem to tell what has actually happened to him except to blame it on diabetes. Been jobless since then and was cheated by his partner who leave everything to him, he got nothing but a mountain of debts.

Disappointed, he tried to ask for assistance from various agencies to help to settle his hospital bills and for financial assistance. He’s often rejected because his father is a pensioner and has a lab engineer sister. He’s in a "sandwich" class so he can’t possibly get any financial assistance no matter what he does. Getting assistance was quite simply impossible.

2 Weeks Pre-Retirement Break

This year is a very exciting year for me. This is the year I set up FOREX ASIA ACADEMY to Inspire, Inform and Improve the Forex Education in Asia.

After another 2 successful batches in both Singapore and Malaysia, I have gotten lots of positive feedbacks once again. Despite of the tedious preparation and course delivery, I felt so satisfied after touching so many lives through my course. It has been a breakthrough for me both personally and professionally.

Before I bring the Academy to the next level, I will be going for my 2-weeks pre-retirement break from now till 24-August 2008. During these 2 weeks, I'll be doing something 'lighter' like visiting my primary teachers and meeting up with my long-time friends...

As for the future development of the Academy, I'll be doing some serious writings on some of my recent Forex discoveries...

Forex Graduate - Md Nazri

I was told by my receptionist that Nazri called and hoped to go for my Preparation Workshop sometimes in mid-July. I asked my assistant to give him a call and I was told that Nazri is a handicapped personnel. Despite of his physical disability, he's very determined to learn from me on the science and art of Forex trading.

Despite the fact of 9-pips bid-ask spread on the GBP/JPY, I bought into the currency pair using one of my mechanical strategy.

Expecting a risk-reward ratio of 450% (PT-180/SL-40), my trade did not exit at my predetermined PT or SL. Instead, I closed it manually at 100 pips. Not bad, still 250% RRR.

When I'm preparing my notes for my Forex Strategy Creation Session, I entered into the trade using some technical indicators.

Given the risk-reward ratio of 292% (PT-70/SL-24), it exited nicely and got executed at predetermined profit take with 70 pips within the next 90 minutes!

Technically 86 pips!

Purely driven by technical indicators, this trade profited me 86 pips with predetermined profit take!

My Property Investment - Manhanttan in Cairns?!

Despite anticipating for the purchase of the property at 132 Smith Street, I think I have waited for too long - almost half a year already.

Anyway, this is the one I have decided to go in.

Manhattan is in Cairns, Australia. Ya, Manhattan is the name of the property. It's very near the largest shopping centre, Performing Arts Centre, Convention Centre, City Mall etc. Furthermore, with the recent tourism boom and the scarity of land in Cairns, I trust my property investment will be in good hands especially with this market leader property developer and management.

On top of these and the world famous one-and-only Great Barrier Reef, the biggest point to me (and which is why I was sold to this property) is the proximity to the CASINO (only 600-metres away).

As the earning results was supposed to be announced after market close yesterday, I entered into trading the options of Wynn (yup, the casino operator).

I entered a bit earlier for this gapping trade, but I also placed a Sell Limit (if it happened to hit it before market close). The Sell Limit was executed before market closed.

WYNN 120 Call - Bought @ 0.90, Sold @ predetermined limit 1.60 (77% within 2 hours)
